Assessment Techniques

Palpation Under Shoulder Pads: Slide hands inside shoulder padding to feel shoulder joint for bony landmarks, dislocations, or fractures.

Stabilization: Have a team member stabilize the joint while others prepare to remove equipment, minimizing player discomfort.
